What is the procedure for Issue of duplicate id card IGNOU?
As per the latest guidelines issued by IGNOU university, if any student lost his / her identity card, then he/she has to visit the nearest police station and file a complaint about the loss of Identity card. Please write two copies of application and get both of them signed by authorized person in the police station.One of the copies of signed application should be submitted to the regional centre whenever you will apply for duplicate copy of ID card.

Students can download application form to apply for Ignou duplicate Id card online from university official website.The students have to submit filled in application form along with prescribed amount of fee at the regional centre concerned. The application fee is Rs.200/-.The demand draft (DD) has to be made in favour of IGNOU payable at the city where Regional Centre is located.
Important Note: Students should submit their Identity Card to the issuing authority after they finish their programme.
